1 Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest
1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Children, Young People and Education Committee.
1.2 In accordance with Standing Order 34.19, the Chair stated that she had determined that the public were excluded from the Committee’s meeting in order to protect public health but that the meeting would be broadcast live on www.senedd.tv
1.3 Apologies were received from James Evans

2 Peer on peer sexual harassment among learners - evidence session 1
2.1 The Committee heard evidence from Estyn.
2.2 Estyn agreed to provide Members with
reports relevant to the inquiry.
3 Papers to note
3.1 The papers were noted.
4 Motion under Standing Order 17.42(ix) to resolve to exclude the public from the meeting for the remainder of the meeting and for the whole meeting on 17 February
4.1 The motion was agreed.
5 Peer on peer sexual harassment among learners - consideration of the evidence
5.1 The Committee considered the evidence it
had heard in the previous evidence session.
6 Tertiary Education and Research (Wales) Bill - consideration of the draft report
6.1 The Committee considered the draft report.
The report would be updated following the discussion and considered
again at next week’s meeting.
7 Legislative Consent Memorandum on the Nationality and Border Bill - consideration of the draft report
7.1 The Committee considered the draft report.
Due to reporting timescales Members agreed that an amended report
would be agreed electronically. The final report would be laid on
15th February.
8 Children's Rights Training
8.1 Members attended a training session on children’s rights.
